We are pleased to announce that we have begun offering a limited number of daily in-hospital appointments. We will also continue to have curbside & drop off appointments and will be using this time to determine client flow and avoid crowding in the lobby. This has been a challenging year for us all and we are happy to be moving closer to normal!

Only appointments that have been specifically scheduled as in-hospital will be in person. If you currently have a scheduled appointment and wish to change from curbside to in-hospital, please call 763-383-8865 and we will move your appointment to an in-hospital slot where available.

Telemedicine

With the initiation of the stay-at-home order, we will now be using telemedicine when possible to keep our clients/staff and patients healthy and safe.  Please be assured that we are an essential business and also remain open for curbside service during regular business hours.

Telemedicine is not suitable for urgent or emergency care but can be utilized for follow up care, skin concerns, coughing/sneezing, some limping/injuries, chronic pain, diarrhea, some types of vomiting, behavior/anxiety consults, hospice care and quality of life discussions, diet and nutritional consult, etc.

MN state law requires a valid client/patient relationship for telemedicine.  Current temporary COVID-19 requirements are that we have examined your cat in the last 18 months.  We are not able to use telemedicine for new patients or cats that have not been examined in the past 18 months.

If you would like to schedule a telemedicine appointment, please call our regular business number (763-383-8865).  The appointments are scheduled and billed just like our in-office appointments.  Our technicians and doctors will triage these appointments and do their best to determine if an in-office visit is indicated.

Once scheduled, you will receive an email invite to your scheduled appointment.  You can use your cell phone or computer with a webcam for the visit.  You will simply download an app from the email and then click your appointment link to enter our virtual exam room at your scheduled appointment time.  You can use your phone camera to show us your cat and any areas of concern.  If you would prefer, we can instead communicate over the telephone.

We hope that you find this service to communicate with us easy to use while allowing you to stay at home and care for your cat!
