Cats Preferred Veterinary Hospital welcomes you and wants to thank you for the opportunity to meet you and care for your cat!

If your cat has previous medical records, please bring them along for your first visit or you may contact your previous veterinarian and have them fax records to us at (763) 383-0960 or email [email protected]

We utilize electronic medical records and will enter all of your cat’s information into the computer upon your arrival for your first visit.

We provide free wellness exams for cats and kittens adopted from Non-Profit Rescue Groups or the Animal Humane Society within 14 days of adoption.  Please bring rescue medical records and adoption paperwork to visit for a discount.

New Client Registration

Plymouth veterinary services
– Attentive sit down examinations and consultations

As a new client of our Veterinary Hospital in Plymouth, MN, you can expect our full attention to your cats’ needs.

You will be warmly greeted by our staff and escorted into an exam room where you will be able to be seated at an exam room table with your cat.

Medical History

Your medical team member will start the appointment by getting a medical history and discuss the reason for the visit.

Examination & Consultation

One of our veterinarians will complete an examination and may ask additional questions based on exam findings. They will then discuss any recommendations for diagnostics, treatment options, and questions you may have.

Treatment Plan

The doctor will then formulate a treatment plan specific to your cat’s needs and your medical team member will discuss the treatment plan and answer any additional questions. Diagnostics and treatment will then be performed based on the treatment plan.

Visit wrap up

Your medical team member discusses go-home instructions and medication administration. Our front desk staff will then process your payment and schedule any follow-up visits. We accept major credit cards: Visa/MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Care Credit.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

We are excited to meet you and your feline family members!
